Inna Novodchuk, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience. In 2007, they worked as a Chemistry Technician in the R&D Division of Unit 81 in the Israel Defense Forces. From 2013-2014, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. From 2014-2016, they were a Junior Engineering Technician at Passat Ltd, where they designed a picosecond UV laser with a 30%-50% increased pulse-to-pulse stability. From 2016-2021, they were a Doctoral Student, Teaching Assistant, and Masters Student at the University of Waterloo, where they researched graphene-based FET biosensors and established an innovative optical processing synthesis method of nanomaterials with mobilities approaching the theoretical limit of graphene. In 2021, they were an Instructor at McMaster University and University of Waterloo and also founded and became President of BioGraph Sense Inc., a start-up company out of Waterloo developing nanotechnology for enhanced sensors, biosensors, and nano/micro electronics applications. In 2022, they will be a Staff Engineer and Senior nanofabrication process engineer at Nicoya. In 2019, they were a Mom at The Pregnancy Pause.

Inna Novodchuk, Ph.D. obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering (nanotechnology) from the University of Waterloo in 2021. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Materials Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2014.
