G. Duane Jobe, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience primarily in the field of education. G. Duane started their career in 1999 with the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS) where they worked in various roles including Vice President of Global Operations and Vice President of School Operations. In 2011, they became the Director (Head of School) at West Nairobi School, and later served as the Director (Head of School) at the International Christian Academy of Nagoya (a NICS school) from 2008 to 2011. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Middle School Science Teacher at Hopper Middle School (Cy-Fair ISD) from 2007 to 2008 and at Splendora Middle School (Splendora ISD) from 2001 to 2002. G. Duane also served as the Principal at Yongsan International School of Seoul from 2002 to 2007. G. Duane started their teaching career as a High School Science Teacher at the International Christian School - Uijeongbu (a NICS school) in 1999 and remained in this role until 2001.
G. Duane Jobe, Ed.D. holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from Hardin-Simmons University, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. G. Duane later pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the same university, completing it in 1999. Dr. Jobe furthered their education by earning a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Development from Nova Southeastern University, which they completed from 2009 to 2016.
Dr. Jobe also possesses additional certifications, including a Superintendent certification from the Association of Christian Schools International, obtained in 2015. G. Duane has an All-Levels Principal certification from the same institution, obtained in 2002. Additionally, they hold a Texas Educator Certificate from the Texas Education Agency, which they obtained in November 2002.
