Bruce Tang is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in analytics and model development in the retail sector. Currently serving as Associate Director at NielsenIQ, Bruce leads an analytics team focused on delivering insights for major retail clients across Canada, the US, and Europe through advanced statistical modeling and machine learning projects. Prior to this role, Bruce held positions at Precima, where responsibilities included managing analytics teams and supporting retail clients with strategic analysis and advanced analytics product deployment. Earlier experiences include analytical roles at LoyaltyOne and Exchange Solutions, as well as a software engineering position in China. Bruce holds a Master of Science in Applied Statistics from McMaster University, along with a PhD candidacy in Mathematics and Engineering from Queens University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Peking University.
