Khalfan Cheema

Khalfan Cheema has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Khalfan currently serves as the Global Vice President Program Management for NielsenIQ, where they have led the program management, change management, and adoption of the company's global platform transformation. In this role, they have driven the convergence of all NielsenIQ customers globally to their newest platform, reducing the time and cost spent analyzing data.

Prior to their current role, Cheema worked as a Senior Program Leader for Strategic Initiatives at NCR Corporation from 2020 to 2022. At Nationwide Insurance from 2014 to 2020, they served as a Run Scrum Master/Project Manager, successfully managing a team of developers and delivering numerous projects. During their tenure, they implemented Kanban programs to promote continuous improvement and eliminated waste, resulting in significant cost savings. Cheema also improved client relations and achieved high customer satisfaction ratings.

Before joining Nationwide Insurance, Cheema held roles at Iron Data Solutions as a Business Analyst/Project Coordinator and at Bank of America as Vice President of Program Management. Khalfan also worked in various positions at Ryerson University from 2007 to 2013 and as an Application Developer at TTC - Toronto Transit Commission in 2012.

Cheema began their career at RBC Royal Bank of Canada, where they worked as an IT Service Analyst and Quality Assurance Analyst in different periods. Overall, Cheema's work experience showcases their expertise in program management, project coordination, team leadership, and driving business transformations.

Khalfan Cheema holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Technology Management (CO-OP) from Ryerson University, completed in 2013. Khalfan also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Ohio University in 2019. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, Certified Agile Leadership I, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Professional Scrum Master I, IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL), and a Project Management Professional Certification.
