Don Long

Don Long is an accomplished executive in the home building industry, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Nies Homes, Inc. since May 2023. Previously, Long held the position of Vice President at American Legend Homes from January 2018 to May 2023, and was an Area Construction Manager/Construction Manager at CalAtlantic Homes from 2015 to 2018, where recognition included the Home Builders Association MAX Award for "Manager of the Year." Additional experience includes serving as Division President at Bellaheim Homes (2014-2015) and co-owning Brookville Homes (2013-2014). Long's career also featured leadership as Division President and Vice President of Operations at Mercedes Premier Homes from 2000 to 2013. Educational background includes studies at the University of North Texas from 1985 to 1987.
