Shehu Popoola-Taiwo

Shehu Popoola-Taiwo serves as the Chairman of Youngship Nigeria since February 2022, an organization dedicated to empowering young professionals in the maritime industry. As a Founding Partner at POPOOLA-TAIWO LP and Founder of Court86, Shehu’s legal expertise extends across significant roles, including membership in the German Maritime Arbitration Association and serving as a Young Arbitrator with various international arbitration bodies. Shehu Popoola-Taiwo holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ilorin and a BL from the Nigerian Law School, with previous experience as an Associate at Layonu & Co. Since 2015, active involvement in the Nigerian Bar Association has further established a commitment to the legal field, particularly in maritime arbitration and youth advocacy.
