Akintayo Akinola

Akintayo Akinola is an accomplished risk management professional with extensive experience in various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control at Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX Group) since March 2019, Akintayo previously held risk management roles at IHS Towers, 9mobile, and Etisalat Nigeria. Early career experiences include positions as a Risk Management Analyst at FirstBank Nigeria and a Strategy/Research Analyst at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated. Akintayo's educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Lagos, a Certificate in Advanced Risk Management from UNITAR, and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Ilorin. Akintayo also holds professional certifications from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
