Kirsten Schut has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2019, they started as a Research Intern at ACTA (academisch centrum tandheelkunde amsterdam), where they worked until June 2019. Later in the same year, they joined AMC - Academisch Medisch Centrum as a Research Assistant for the POLAR project from November 2019 to August 2020. Additionally, they also worked as a Research Intern at Tytgat Institute from December 2019 to July 2020. In 2020, they transitioned to the media industry and worked as a Copywriter at EcoToday from February 2020 to May 2020. Following that, they became the Editor-in-chief at EcoToday from May 2020 to February 2022. Most recently, in June 2022, they joined Nightingale Health as a Data Scientist.
Kirsten Schut completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Genes in Behaviour and Health from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in the period of 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons BSc) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Amsterdam University College, where they studied from 2016 to 2019.
