Michael Perelman

Michael Perelman is the Director of Global Client Advisory at NightOwl. Michael has over 25 years of experience in the field of digital forensics and investigations.

Perelman began their career as a Senior Specialist at Perot Systems Corporation / UBS, where they worked for eight years. Michael then transitioned to Morgan Stanley, where they were an Associate for three years. In 2007, Perelman interned with the Kings County District Attorney's Office in the Computer Crimes Unit.

In 2008, they became a Senior Forensic Analyst with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. The following year, they joined Guidance Software as a Senior Consultant. In 2009, Perelman was recruited by Prudential Financial to be the Director of their High Tech Investigations Unit. Michael held this position for six years before moving to HaystackID, where they were the Director of Investigations for seven years.

Perelman has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at John Jay College (CUNY). Michael currently resides in New York City.

Michael Perelman is a forensic computing professional with experience in information systems and advanced smartphone forensics. Michael holds a BBA from Baruch College and an MS from John Jay College (CUNY), and is certified by the SANS Institute in GIAC Advanced Smartphone Forensics.

Their manager is Andrea E. Wallack, CEO. They are on a team with Jonathan Flood - Associate Director of EU Discovery Operations, Albert Barsocchini - Director of Strategic Consulting, and Tony Copa - CFO.
