Praveen Gupta

Praveen Gupta is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering for North America at Nike since September 2023. Prior to this role, Praveen held the position of Head of Engineering for Enterprise Products & Platforms at Amazon Web Services from August 2020 to September 2023, where collaboration with senior stakeholders facilitated the development of product vision and roadmaps. Praveen's earlier tenure at Nike lasted from September 2008 to August 2020, during which significant contributions included a 20% revenue year-over-year increase and a remarkable improvement in development cycle time. Earlier career experience includes a role as Technology Lead at Infosys Technologies Limited, focusing on BI engineering for Florida Power and Light. Praveen holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has completed a postgraduate degree in Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, along with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.
