Shelby Cabral Smither

Shelby Cabral Smither serves as the Human Resources Director at Nike since April 2021, leading Global People and Culture Strategies for Converse Corporate Functions and Supply Chain, including distribution centers. Prior to this role, Shelby spent over two decades at IBM, where positions included Global HR Leader for Life Sciences, Oncology & Genomics, and Watson Health Imaging, as well as the Internet of Things, managing People and Culture strategies for over 3,500 IBM employees worldwide. Additional roles at IBM included HR Regional Leader overseeing a team for 5,000 employees across New England and Senior HR Business Partner, focusing on various clients within the Software Business Unit. Shelby holds a degree from Wellesley College.
