Matthew Shekels

Matthew Shekels has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Matthew is currently the VP of Hardware at Nimble Robotics, a position they have held since April 2022. Before that, they were the Head of Hardware at the same company from June 2020 to April 2022. Prior to their time at Nimble Robotics, Matthew worked as a Consultant Mechanical Engineer at Walt Disney Imagineering from January 2020 to April 2020. Matthew also served as a Mechatronics Engineer 2 at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from April 2016 to January 2020.

Matthew's earlier roles include Mechanical Engineer 1 and Mechanical Engineering Intern at JPL (NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory) from July 2014 to January 2016 and July 2013 to July 2014, respectively.

Before their time in the aerospace industry, Matthew gained valuable experience at the Naval Surface Warfare Center. Prior to that, Matthew worked as a Machinist from May 2008 to May 2010, gaining proficiency in conventional tooling machines and inspection equipment.

Matthew Shekels attended Santiago High School from 2005 to 2009. After completing high school, they enrolled at Riverside City College in 2008, although no degree or field of study is provided for this period.
