Richard Pinapati has a long and varied work experience in the field of bioinformatics. Richard began their career in 2007 as a Research Assistant and Lab Manager at the School of Optometry, Indiana University Bloomington. Richard also worked as an Examinations Proctor and Technical Assistant at the Information Visualization Laboratory. Additionally, they were an Assistant for Biocomputing Services at the College of Arts and Sciences. In 2010, they became a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Notre Dame, where their research focused on genetics, genomics, and bioinformatics of the malarial parasite, Plasmodium falciparum. In 2016, they joined Roche Sequencing Solutions in Madison as a Bioinformatics Scientist in Technology Innovation. In 2019, they moved to Roche Sequencing Solutions and became a Bioinformatics Scientist II in Technology Innovation. Richard is currently employed as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Nimble Therapeutics.
