Willem H.

Willem H. is a media professional with extensive experience in the games and online media sectors. Currently serving as Media Manager Games & Online at Nederlands Instituut voor Beeld en Geluid since February 2021, Willem is responsible for the preservation and acquisition of Dutch videogames as well as web-video and digital media productions. As a storyteller, Willem researches audiovisual and interactive media for the Museum at Beeld en Geluid. Additional roles include serving as an Associate Editor for Nintendo World Report, a volunteer writer for N1ntendo.nl, and a former Web Editor at KRO-NCRV. Willem's past experiences also encompass positions as a games journalist, tour guide, and research intern, alongside internships and roles at Nintendo of Europe and other media organizations. Willem holds a Master’s degree in Journalism & Media from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Film and Television Sciences from Utrecht University.
