Louise Delaigue

Louise Delaigue is a PhD candidate at NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research, conducting research on the marine carbon cycle in the southern Indian and Pacific Oceans, focusing on air-sea CO2 exchange and ocean acidification. Previous experience includes a graduate researcher role at McGill University, where research centered on inorganic carbon dynamics in the Saguenay Fjord, and participation in various scientific conferences. Louise also served as a programme manager at Common Purpose, organizing leadership development programmes, and held roles including Quebec Youth Representative for the Green Party of Canada and intern at the South African Shark Conservancy. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Oceanography from Utrecht University, a Master of Science in Earth and Planetary Sciences from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Concordia University.
