Carina Raportaru

Carina Raportaru is a highly experienced scientific researcher and engineer currently serving as a Scientific Researcher III and Director of the Technology Transfer Center at the Institute of Space Science in Romania since May 2023. Additionally, Carina holds the position of Government Relations and Public Affairs Officer at AFIST, a role initiated in January 2023. Carina's extensive career at the Horia Hulubei National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering spans from 2005, encompassing roles such as Technology Development Engineer II, Scientific Researcher III, Technology Development Engineer, and Research Assistant. Prior expertise as an Expert in Open Science was gained at the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding from November 2020 to May 2022. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics, a Master’s degree in Physics, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics, all obtained from the University of Bucharest.
