Nikki Jacobsen

Nikki Jacobsen, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive background in human resources. Nikki is currently serving as the VP and GM of Human Resources at Nippon Express Group, where they lead and directs the HR function to support the company's business initiatives. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Human Resources at Yusen Logistics (Americas), Inc., where they were responsible for a team of three HR employees and supported the International Division of 760 employees across 24 sites. Nikki also served as the Regional Human Resources Manager at the same company, providing HR consultation, coaching, and guidance to regional organizations across 11 sites in six states.

Before joining Yusen Logistics, Nikki held the position of Sr. Manager of Human Resources at Intersections Inc., where they managed all facets of HR for five sites in five states and supervised a team of eight HR staff. Nikki also worked as an HR Generalist at Liberty Bank for Savings and as an HR Manager at Labe Bank. Throughout their career, Nikki has demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and people management abilities, and has been responsible for various HR functions including policy administration, compliance, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, and benefits administration.

Nikki Jacobsen, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a BA degree in Psychology and Speech Communication from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Nikki has also obtained the certifications of SHRM-SCP from SHRM in 2015 and SPHR from HRCI.
