Bruce P.

Bruce P. has a long and varied career in the sciences. Bruce began their career in 1989 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Research Triangle Institute. In 1990, they joined BD Technologies as a Sr. Staff Scientist, where they applied organic chemistry in the development of a broad range of technologies for medical diagnostics, biosensors, cell biology, and biotechnology applications. In 2006, they became a Visiting Research Scientist at the Biomedical Diagnostics Institute at Dublin City University. In 2007, they joined One World Market as a Board Member. Finally, in 2014, they became the Chief Scientific Officer at NIRvana Sciences, where they worked to develop fluorescent dyes for the Red and Near-Infrared (NIR) spectral regions with ultra-narrow spectral properties.

Bruce P. received their Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Vermont and their B.S. in Chemistry from The University of Memphis.
