Ciaps Svetlana Novakovic

Svetlana Novakovic, CIAPS, CFE, currently serves as the Manager for Business Ethics Audit at NIS a.d. Novi Sad since February 2023. Prior to this role, Svetlana worked at the Audit Authority Office of the EU funds under the Government of the Republic of Serbia from February 2012 to February 2023 as a Senior Advisor and Head of the Audit Group for Regional and Territorial Cooperation Programmes, where responsibilities included preparing audit procedures and monitoring regulatory compliance. Previous roles include Internal Auditor in the Administrative Agency for Joint Services from November 2008 to February 2012, as well as positions as a Financial Analyst and Claims Settlement Clerk, Accountant and Bookkeeper, and Proprietor of a baby store. Svetlana holds a Master's Degree in Accounting and Auditing from Singidunum University and two Master's Degrees in Archeology from the University of Belgrade, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management in the Financial Services Sector from Edukons University.
