Matthew Batts

Matthew Batts has a diverse range of work experience in the technology field. Matthew is currently the Global Head of Technology at Nisbets, a leading provider of foodservice equipment and consumables. Prior to this, they held positions at Harding Retail, where they served as the Global Head of IT and IT Infrastructure Manager. Harding Retail specializes in providing retail services to the travel industry. Before that, Matthew worked at Circle Health as an IT Manager, overseeing the company's healthcare network. Matthew also has experience as a Systems Analyst and Helpdesk Analyst at U2COM LIMITED, where they resolved network and system issues and provided support to users.

Matthew Batts has a diverse educational background. Matthew started their higher education journey in 2005 at St Brendan's Sixth Form College, where they pursued A Levels in Information Technology, Business Studies, Photography, and Psychology. After completing their A Levels in 2007, Matthew attended Bath College, where they obtained a Foundation degree in IT from 2007 to 2009. Following that, Matthew enrolled at the University of Bath and pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computing with Business from 2007 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Matthew has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skillset. Matthew earned a Computer Aided Design & Manufacturing certification from City & Guilds in September 2007. Later on, they obtained the ITIL V3 certification from The Knowledge Academy in March 2012. In August 2013, Matthew acquired certifications in both Administering System Center 2012 Configuration Manager and Deploying System Center 2012 Configuration Manager from The Knowledge Academy. Continuing their learning journey, they pursued the APM - Project Management Qualification from The Knowledge Academy in November 2016. Lastly, in April 2020, Matthew earned two certifications, namely Agile Crash Course: Agile Project Management; Agile Delivery and Six Sigma White Belt (Dutch BKO Accredited), from Udemy.
