Gil Guerra is an experienced immigration policy analyst with a strong background in political science and government. Currently serving at the Niskanen Center since July 2022, Gil has previously held roles at the American Enterprise Institute as an academic programs senior associate and at the Hudson Institute Political Studies as a summer fellow. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Swarthmore College and a Master of Arts in Global Security & Borders from Queen's University Belfast. In addition, Gil has contributed to student development and admissions processes at Swarthmore College and participated in the Hertog Foundation as a summer fellow. Currently, Gil is also pursuing further education at Ulster University.
