Erik Sundberg

Erik Sundberg has extensive work experience in the field of networking. Erik started their career at Apps Communications in 2002 as a Network Engineer and stayed there for 4 years. Erik then joined NeoPhonetics in 2006 as a Network and VoIP Engineer for a year. After that, they worked at CIMCO Communications as a VoIP and Data Network Engineer from 2007 to 2010. During this time, they managed the day-to-day operations of the Broadsoft's Broadworks carrier class VoIP environment and upgraded the core network infrastructure. Subsequently, Erik joined Comcast in 2010 as a Network Engineer. Erik then transitioned to Nitel in 2011, where they held the role of Sr. Network Engineer. At Nitel, they were responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining a variety of network systems and services, including national POP and backbone deployment, NNI interconnects, and managed hardware. Erik also managed co-location, worked with ARIN and Route Registry, and deployed DNS Anycast and Ookla Speedtest servers. Erik has a strong background in network engineering and has worked with a wide range of technologies and systems.
