Tao Ding has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies.

From 2021 to the present, Tao Ding has held the position of Head of Supply Chain & Project Management for the Micro-mobility Business Unit at NIU Technologies. In this role, they perform market and product analysis and define purchase strategies based on technical and production requirements.

From 2018 to 2021, Tao Ding worked at Lime, first as a GSM from June 2020 to October 2021, and then as a Production Manager from July 2018 to May 2020. As a Production Manager, they were responsible for sourcing potential suppliers for various components like motors, batteries, control boards, lighting, IoT modules, injection, and die casting.

Prior to working at Lime, Tao Ding worked at Feica as an Ebike Project Leader from January 2017 to July 2018. They managed the supplier panel for E-bike components such as motors, battery packs, displays, and motor controllers. They also worked as a Product Development Specialist from January 2015 to December 2016, focusing on expanding product range and boosting sales through the integration of new technologies like IoT and BLE. Additionally, they served as a Purchase Team Manager from February 2011 to December 2014, where they conducted sourcing activities and identified main industrial areas with competitive prices and good design capabilities. They were also responsible for managing the sports torch light, headlamp, and camping lamp NPI in local suppliers.

Tao Ding's work experience also includes roles at Delta Electronics from July 2006 to October 2008. They worked as a Component Team Leader, managing 8 PCB suppliers, conducting quality audits, optimizing the supply chain system, and providing technical support for production line issues. They were also involved in process system re-engineering and wrote PCB board approval procedures and SOPs.

From 2002 to 2006, Tao Ding attended Wuhan Textile University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Information Engineering.
