Nadeeza Yasmine Ishmael

Nadeeza Yasmine Ishmael has extensive experience in research and development, currently serving at NIUCOCO since January 2014, focusing on scientific affairs and research projects in an emerging cosmetics company. Nadeeza has also held leadership roles, such as Project Lead at the University of Toronto and Research Manager at Concordia University, where coordination of research projects for biofuel studies was a key responsibility. Previous positions include Research Specialist at the University of Maryland's Institute for Genome Sciences, investigating bacterial actions in infectious diseases, and Research Associate at the J. Craig Venter Institute, contributing to large-scale genomics and microarray studies. Nadeeza holds a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's Degree in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland.
