Nirav Patel

Nirav Patel, Ph.D., has a comprehensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Nirav most recently served as the Head Formulation R&D at Nivagen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since November 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate Vice President - Formulation R&D at Symbiotec Pharmalab Pvt. Ltd. from August 2020 to November 2021. From August 2017 to August 2020, Nirav worked as the General Manager - R&D (Sterile Portfolio) at Ingenus Pharmaceuticals. Before that, they worked at Amneal Pharmaceuticals, where they held various roles including Deputy General Manager - R&D from June 2016 to August 2017, Assistant General Manager - R&D from January 2015 to May 2016, and Senior Manager - R&D from May 2013 to December 2014. Prior to joining Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Nirav worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd from November 2011 to May 2013. Nirav began their career at Xcelris Labs Ltd. as a Group Leader- Formulation Development from February 2009 to November 2011 and worked as a Formulation Development - Executive at Claris Lifesciences Limited from June 2004 to September 2007.

Nirav Patel, Ph.D., obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya, Gandihnagar in 2016. Prior to their Ph.D., they completed a Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) in Pharmaceutics at K.B.Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research from 2007 to 2009. Nirav also holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) degree from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, which they completed from 2000 to 2004.
