Alex McCune

Alex McCune has work experience as a Design Engineer at Niven from August 2018 to the present. At Niven, they were responsible for designing and assembling Point-of-Purchase displays and working with vendors to ensure cost-effective fabrication. Alex has experience with designing using vacuforms, sheet metal, engineered wood, injection molds, and extrusions. Alex also travelled to client locations to ensure proper implementation.

Prior to working at Niven, Alex McCune was a Design Engineer at Peerless-AV from July 2014 to August 2018. Here, they were responsible for designing, fabricating, and assembling metal-based kiosks supporting both large and small format digital displays. Alex was familiar with the entire design process from concept to completion for both custom "1-off" and production designs.

Alex McCune attended Iowa State University from 2007 to 2013. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
