Gurdeep Prajapati

Gurdeep Prajapati has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gurdeep started their career in 2016 as a Student Volunteer for the National Service Scheme, where they organized rallies, conducted medical surveys, and distributed clothes for the welfare of people in the village.

In 2017, Gurdeep joined Kshitij, IIT Kharagpur, as a Core Organising Team Member, where they successfully organized and executed Asia's largest Techno-Management Fest, with a participation of 40,000 and sponsorship from UNESCO. Gurdeep later became a Core Organising Events Head, coordinating a team of 14 members for over 30 events. In 2019, Gurdeep served as a Steering Committee Member, responsible for the safety and security of over 5000 participants.

Gurdeep also worked for Tata Steel as a Safety Analytics intern, analyzing the Ontology model of contractor safety issues. Gurdeep then joined the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2020, where they focused on the predictive analysis of COVID-19 growth using the SIR model under the guidance of Professor Sayan Kar.

In 2021, Gurdeep joined Zmags as a Software Engineer, where they worked on a system for converting design files into interactive and shoppable digital experiences. Gurdeep also built microservices and REST web services for email integration with Klaviyo and SFMC.

Currently, Gurdeep Prajapati holds the position of Software Engineer 2 at Nivoda, starting in 2023.

Gurdeep Prajapati completed their Master of Science degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Gurdeep attended this institution from 2016 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Gurdeep obtained several certifications from Coursera. In June 2020, they received a certification in "Algorithmic Toolbox." In July 2020, they obtained a certification in "Support Vector Machine Classification in Python." Earlier, in April 2019, Gurdeep completed a certification in "Neural Networks and Deep Learning." Additionally, in March 2019, they obtained a certification in "SQL for Data Science."
