Richard McKenzie

Richard McKenzie is an accomplished research scientist with extensive experience in atmospheric physics and UV consultancy. Currently serving as Research Scientist (Emeritus) at NIWA Lauder since 2013, Richard has also been the Company Director of The Top House Ltd, where services have included notable clients such as L'Oreal and New Zealand's various governmental ministries. Previously, Richard held the position of Principal Scientist at NIWA Lauder from 1979 to 2012, where important radiation research programs were initiated and managed. Richard's earlier career includes roles as a Research Scientist at DSIR and as a Lecturer in Physics at The University of the South Pacific. Richard holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Physics from the University of Oxford, alongside multiple degrees in physics and education from esteemed institutions.
