Joanne Sessler

Joanne Sessler has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Joanne currently holds the position of Vice President of Product at Nixon, a role they began in August 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Design + Innovation at Targus from March 2019 to August 2021.

From July 2013 to September 2018, Joanne was the VP Product at Manduka, where they oversaw the production of performance yoga products and led cross-functional product teams.

Before Manduka, Joanne worked at Hanesbrands Inc. as the Design Director Champion from November 2008 to May 2013. Joanne was responsible for leading global innovation initiatives and creating exclusive designs for strategic partnerships with notable brands such as the US Women's Lacrosse Team and Urban Outfitters.

From October 2007 to November 2008, Joanne held the role of Global GM - Apparel, Footwear & Accessories at Cannondale Bicycles. There, they developed the product roadmap for high-performance cycling apparel and led a global team of design professionals.

Prior to their time at Cannondale, Joanne worked at American Sporting Goods as the GM Apparel for And 1, Avia, and Ryka. During their tenure, they led the product team for three performance apparel lines and managed global apparel and accessories licensees.

Joanne's early career includes a position as Senior Apparel Designer at Timberland from January 2002 to April 2003. Joanne was responsible for designing and developing outdoor performance collections and was a part of the European design team.

Joanne Sessler attended Ohio University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fine and Studio Arts. Following this, they pursued further education at the MIT Sloan School of Management, specializing in Mastering Design Thinking.
