Steven Cornet

Steven Cornet is a Project Manager specializing in Protein Technology at NIZO since May 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD student at Wageningen Food & Biobased Research from February 2017 to May 2021, focusing on the hydration properties of plant-based meat analogues to enhance juiciness. Steven organized the Young EFFoST Day 2019 for the European Federation of Food Science and Technology, an event aimed at young professionals in food science. Additional experience includes a research internship at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and roles as a student assistant and master's thesis researcher at Wageningen UR, concentrating on the development and analysis of organogels. Steven holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from Wageningen University & Research.
