Taylor Egan

Taylor Egan is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in peer support and counseling roles. Currently serving as a Peer Support Specialist at Aetna, a CVS Health Company since June 2022, Taylor has also worked with Career Opportunity Development, Inc. (CODI) as a Residential Counselor since August 2020, and previously in a similar role from March 2009 to October 2016. Taylor contributes to the NAMI In Our Own Voice program since August 2010, sharing personal recovery experiences to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. Previous positions include Peer Specialist at Helping Hand Behavioral Health for two terms, November 2020 to August 2021 and October 2016 to August 2020, where Taylor focused on fostering empathetic connections among peers. Taylor holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rutgers University - Camden and an Associate's Degree in Psychology from Atlantic Cape Community College, complemented by a high school diploma from Oakcrest High School.
