John Schuster

John Schuster has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. John is currently the Managing Director at NJP Ventures, LLC. Prior to that, they served as the Global Head of Infrastructure at Citadel from 2019 to 2020. John also worked as the Global Head of Core and Client Technology at Citadel Securities from 2017 to 2019. Before joining Citadel, John was the VP of Software Engineering at Workday in 2016 and the VP of Engineering at Platfora (Acquired by Workday) from 2012 to 2016. John held the position of VP of Engineering at SnapLogic from 2011 to 2012. John has also held various engineering leadership roles at Cisco Systems, IronPort Systems (Acquired by Cisco), and Network Appliance. John started their career as a Founding Engineer at Internet Middleware Corporation in 1996.

John Schuster earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Occidental College, attending from 1991 to 1995. John also studied Computer Science at Caltech from 1994 to 1995. In addition, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in 2014.
