Vanessa Schwartz

Vanessa Schwartz currently serves as a Small Business Consultant at the NJSBDC State Office and as the Business Owner of VCS Small Business Strategies LLC, focusing on small business formation, certifications, planning, financing, and strategic development. Previously, Vanessa held the role of Business Services Manager and Lead Consultant at Kean University from September 2018 to September 2023, where recognition as the Kean Business School 2021-2022 Staff Member of the Year was received. Earlier professional experience includes serving as Vice President at Weber Shandwick, specializing in financial investor relations, as well as positions at PwC, Credit Suisse, and Morgan Stanley. Vanessa holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham University and a BA in International/Global Studies from Dickinson College.
