Benjamas Aiamkitsumrit, Ph.D.

Benjamas Aiamkitsumrit, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the field of scientific research. Benjamas'smost recent position was as a Principle Scientist at Nkarta, Inc. starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Instil Bio from February 2021 to May 2023. From June 2018 to February 2021, they served as a Research Scientist at Kite Pharma.

Before joining the industry, Dr. Aiamkitsumrit was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania from June 2015 to June 2018. During this time, they focused on studying the biological relevance of pre-existing memory phenotype T cells in response to a novel antigen, particularly examining how TCR cross-reactivity could influence the magnitude of a response in humans. Benjamas also explored whether cells bearing more cross-reactive TCRs were preferentially expanded after vaccination.

Dr. Aiamkitsumrit's earlier experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Drexel University College of Medicine from February 2013 to March 2014.
