Erin Reardon Cmp, Des

Erin Reardon, CMP, DES has over 17 years of work experience in the field of event management. Erin is currently serving as the Associate Director of Events at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Event Marketing Strategist at Saprea from September 2021 to June 2023.

Erin has also worked at Visit Salt Lake as a Convention District Sales/Services Manager and Convention Services Manager from February 2018 to February 2021. In this role, they utilized CRM tools to manage leads, coordinated with meeting planners, planned board of director events, and managed budgets.

Before that, Erin worked at the University of Utah as the Campus Visits and Experience Manager, where they supervised staff, provided training, and organized team building events. Erin also worked as a Special Events Coordinator at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, managing various events for the College of Law.

In the early years of their career, Erin worked as an Event Manager at the Duke Energy Convention Center, coordinating events for various clients. Erin also served as the College & Foundation Relations Coordinator at Valencia College & Foundation, where they organized events for donors and alumni and performed administrative duties.

Erin's experience also includes working as an Event & Sales Coordinator at TBA Global Events, where they created event proposals, researched venues, and assisted with event logistics.

Erin Reardon, CMP, DES has a Bachelor's degree in Business/Corporate Communications from the University of Kentucky, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. In terms of additional certifications, Erin earned the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation from the Events Industry Council in February 2016. Erin also obtained the CMP - Certified Meeting Professional certification from the Convention Industry Council in January 2016. Additionally, Erin obtained the Digital Event Strategist (DES) certification from PCMA in January 2021.
