Kathrin Ballesteros

Kathrin Ballesteros is a Venture Partner at NLC. Kathrin was previously a Scrum Master at grow platform GmbH, a Bosch Company, where they were responsible for setting up agile working in grow Inno Hub EMEA and setting up agile working for grow global. Kathrin also worked as a Gründungsreferentin at Universität Hohenheim, where they were responsible for the development and implementation of start-up support, coaching & consulting of university’s entrepreneurs and spin-offs, workshops for university’s entrepreneurs and spin-offs, and support in the application process for public funding programmes. Kathrin has also worked as a Startup & Career Coach and Lecturer at KBK Concept, where they were responsible for startup & career coaching, innovation workshops, and lectures at Furtwangen University (Biocompability) and Pharmaakademie (Medical and Scientific Subjects, Communication). Kathrin has also worked as a Tutor at Springer-Verlag (Correspondence Course in Biology). Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing & PR at BioCampus Cologne. Kathrin has also worked as a Senior Project Leader at BioRegio STERN Mangement GmbH.

Kathrin Ballesteros has a diploma and PhD in biochemistry from Ruhr University Bochum. Kathrin also has a micro master's degree in business model innovation from Technische Universiteit Delft and a certification in the art of negotiation from Coursera. In addition, they have a certification in serious gaming from Coursera and a certification in Python data structures from Coursera.
