Bill Phillips has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and network systems analysis. Bill started their career in 2000 as a Network Systems Analyst at The University of Arizona. After four years, they joined Nlets - The International Justice and Public Safety Network in 2004, where they held various roles such as FBI CJIS ISO, Information Security and Assurance Manager, and currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer.

Bill Phillips completed their education as follows:
