Jen Christensen

Jen Christensen is a secretary at NLGJA who has previously worked as the Vice President of Broadcast at NLGJA and as an Investigative Field Producer at CNN. Jen has helped design and launch a national mentoring program for mid-career professionals and students, and has worked with local chapters to develop professional and networking programs for journalists. Jen has also helped grow membership and strengthen the budget, created professional development programs for our national convention, helped hire staff, cultivate new leaders, advised the executive director about staff and program development and budget matters.

Jen Christensen is currently working towards their Master of Fine Arts at Bennington College, with an expected graduation date in 2023. Jen holds a Bachelor of Science from Butler University in Radio/TV and Political Science, and has also studied economics/foreign policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science, U. of London. Christensen began their educational career at Lyons Township High School.
