Laura Barens

Laura Barens has a diverse work experience in marketing and business coaching. Laura is currently working as the Head of Marketing at nlgroeit since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Owner of LB Marketing Strategie & Business Coaching since 2013, where they focused on positioning, branding, and coaching entrepreneurs. Laura also worked as a Marketing Manager at PCM Community Nederland & België starting in 2022. Laura has served as a member of the Sponsor Committee at Business Club SV Hoofddorp since 2021. Additionally, Laura has experience as a Marketing Manager at MyOwnHealth.nl from 2023 to 2023. From 2020 to 2023, they were the Chairman of the MR OBS Twickel. Laura has also held positions such as General Director at Houseyourbrands from 2015 to 2021, Strategic Advisor at De Mannen van Kaas from 2018 to 2020, and Marketing Communications Manager a.i. at Boska Holland from 2016 to 2017. Laura started their career as a Project Manager at Hollandsch-Welvaren, where they worked until 2016.

Laura Barens has a diverse education history. In 1997, they attended Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where they studied Fashion Management until 1999. In 2005, they pursued Business Marketing at NIMA, Nederlands Instituut voor Marketing, completing their NIMA B degree that same year. In 2006, Laura earned their NIMA C, Master of Marketing, from the same institution. In 2013, they attended Super Promoter Academy, specializing in Marketing and obtaining a Superpromoter Consultant degree. Lastly, in 2023, they participated in LinkedIn Training at Trudy Pannekeet - LinkedIn Training & Marketing Coaching. Additionally, Laura obtained the NIMA C certification from NIMA, Nederlands Instituut voor Marketing in 2007.
