Alex W.

Alex W. currently serves as the Director of Operations at nLighten, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Alex W. was the Regional Manager of Datacenter Operations for EMEA at EdgeConneX from December 2021 to December 2023. Prior to that role, Alex W. worked at Global Switch as Campus Facility Manager and Critical Environments Manager between September 2019 and November 2021. Alex W. has an extensive background in the military, having held multiple positions at the Ministerie van Defensie from August 2005 to September 2019, including Head of Technical Expertise for the NH-90 Helicopter and various engineering officer roles on naval vessels. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Military Systems and Technologies - Aviation from the Royal Netherlands Naval Academy (2005-2009) and a Master's degree in Econometrics and Operations Research from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2016-2018).
