Elizabeth Gachanja is a skilled professional with a robust background in research and bioinformatics, currently serving as a Research Fellow with the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) since June 2021. Elizabeth is also a PhD Scholar at the Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) since February 2017. Previous experiences include a student-trainee role at Arcadia University College for Global Studies-Tanzania, where areas of focus included peace and conflict resolution, public health, climate change, and community service. Additionally, Elizabeth interned at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, specializing in external relations and protocol, and worked as a student researcher at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI). Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Kenyatta University, completed in December 2021.
