Stacy Miles

As President & Acting CEO, Stacy leads internal operations, overseeing the Program, Teaching and Learning, Technology and Talent teams with an overall focus on program strategy and organizational sustainability.

Stacy joined NMSI in October 2016, bringing extensive leadership experience from across the education sector. She previously worked at the University of Texas in student support services, served as an executive director of Citizen Schools-Texas and as a chief program officer for the same national organization. She most recently served as a partner with The New Teacher Project. She deeply understands and is passionate about developing talent and building high-performing, diverse teams to provide all students, particularly those from under-served communities, with access to a great education.

Stacy holds a Master in Education from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Art from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
