Greg Flickinger has over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Greg began their career in 1999 as a Plant Operations Manager at General Mills, where they were responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the third largest cereal plant by volume. Greg was then promoted to Corporate Operations Business Manager, where they managed over half of the product portfolio of the General Mills Big G Cereal Division. In 2008, they became Vice President of Manufacturing and Corporate Engineering at Snyder's-Lance, Inc, where they were responsible for 4 manufacturing sites and 8 manufacturing plants across the US and Canada. In 2016, they joined HEB as Group Vice President and Vice President of Manufacturing Operations. In 2019, they became Senior Vice President at Green Thumb Industries (GTI), where they led, developed and scaled end-to-end Operations, Supply Chain and support functions. Greg is currently COO of Nobell Foods, and also serves as Advisory Board Member at Florida State University/FAMU Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, Chair of the OpX Executive Council at OpX Leadership Network, and President of the Board of Directors at Stingray Aquatics of North Carolina.
Greg Flickinger obtained their BS in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University from 1989 to 1993. Greg then went on to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to pursue a MS in Chemical Engineering, which they completed in 1997. Greg then continued their studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earning a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 1999.
