Lou Ronca has extensive work experience in the law enforcement and security field. Lou started their career in 1970 as a USMC HMX-1 Presidential Helicopter Squadron Security for the United States Marine Corps. From 1975 to 1988, they served as a Deputy Sheriff Major Crimes Investigator at the Orange County Sheriff's Office. Lou then joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 1988, where they held various roles including FBI Supervisory Special Agent and FBI Command Pilot/Certified FAA Instructor Pilot. During their time at the FBI, they also served as an FBI National Academy Counselor in 1997. In 2009, they became the DHS Senior Law Enforcement Instructor at the Department of Homeland Security, and later served as the Director for AKIMA, LLC Mission Systems Engineering & Technology Group. In 2020, Lou Ronca worked as a Special Investigator at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) BICS, and currently, they hold the role of Director LE/IC BD at Noblis.
Lou Ronca's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Rollins College, from 1980 to 1984. Prior to that, between 1967 and 1970, Lou attended EVANS but did not obtain a degree. In addition to these academic experiences, Lou also has a background as an FBI, DHS, and USMC Veteran.
