Stephen Frost

Stephen Frost is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in data engineering and database management. Currently serving as Chief Data Engineer at Noblis since May 2024, Stephen also holds the role of Vice President at Software in the Public Interest, Inc., and has been a Major Contributor to the PostgreSQL Global Development Group since August 2003. Prior to these roles, Stephen was Chief Technology Officer at Crunchy Data Solutions, Inc. from 2014 to 2024, and served as President of the United States PostgreSQL Association from March 2018 to June 2021. Stephen's earlier experience includes significant positions such as Committee Chair for PostgresOpen and Principal Database Engineer at Resonate. Stephen's career originated at Monumental Network Systems, Inc. as a Unix Administrator. Academically, Stephen holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from George Mason University and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Northern Virginia Community College.
