Stephanie Rigot, DPT, PhD has a long history of work experience in the field of physical therapy. Stephanie began their career as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh in 2014 and as a Teaching Assistant and Tutor at the University of Rochester in 2012. In 2015, they were a Physical Therapy Student Intern at UPMC Centers for Rehab Services, Rehabilitation Institute, Department of Veterans Affairs. In 2016, they were a Graduate Student Researcher/ Post-Doctoral Scholar and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh, as well as an Information Technology and Communications Consultant at Embody Physiotherapy & Wellness, LLC. In 2018, they were a Physical Therapist at UPMC Centers for Rehab Services. In 2021, they became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and in 2022, they are a Senior Clinical Research Scientist at Noctrix Health, Inc.
Stephanie Rigot, DPT, PhD obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Rochester in 2011-2015, majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Biomechanics and minoring in Psychology as a Social Science. Stephanie then went on to the University of Pittsburgh, where they earned their Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and PhD in Bioengineering, graduating in 2021.
