Clarissa Castaneda has a wealth of experience in the public relations and communications industry. Clarissa began their career in 2008 as an Editor/Producer/Research Analyst at University of the Incarnate Word (UIWtv). In 2011, they took on the role of Booking Agent at Calliope Talent, Model, & Artist Management, LLC. Clarissa then moved to Guerra Communications in 2012, where they worked as an Administrative Assistant. In 2013, they joined the U.S. House of Representatives as District Press Secretary for Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28). That same year, they also worked as a Publicity/Production Intern at Infinity Media Inc. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Corporate Communications Executive at Frost & Sullivan, where they managed corporate communications for two of the company's largest business units and coordinated media outreach targeting national and international outlets. Since 2017, Clarissa has been the Director of Public Relations at Noisy Trumpet Digital & Public Relations, where they lead national publicity efforts for agency clients across various sectors, including Entertainment, Retail, and Nonprofit.
Clarissa Castaneda received their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Communications and Media Studies from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2012. Clarissa also obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Arts from the same university in 2011.
