Simon Warriss has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Simon started their career at Unilever as a Manufacturing Management Trainee. Later, they took on various roles at Unilever including Resource Group Manager, Supply Chain Analyst, Supply Planner, Supply Planning Manager, and finally, Supply Chain Manager. At Unilever, they were responsible for managing teams, delivering demand forecasts, and participating in core project teams.
In 2006, Simon joined Nomad Foods, where they held several senior project management positions. Simon oversaw projects in different categories such as Fish, Meals & New Occasions, and Transformation. Their responsibilities included managing product launches, delivering innovation projects, and ensuring business continuity in the face of challenges like Brexit.
Simon has demonstrated expertise in project management, commercial operations, and supply chain management throughout their career.
Simon Warriss obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Leeds Beckett University in the years 1989 to 1993. Later, in 1993 to 1994, they pursued an MSc degree in Technology & Innovation Management from the University of Sussex. Simon also holds multiple certifications including the Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional and PRINCE2 Practitioner certificate in Project Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
