Barbara Liau

Barbara Liau is a highly experienced professional with a wide range of work experience. Barbara began their career in 2008 as a Public Affairs Specialist-Writer for the Army National Guard. In 2014, they took on the role of College Representative for BEAU - Broadview Entertainment Arts University. In 2015, they were a Web Instructor and Lead Mentor for DevMountain, and a Software Developer for Snow Logic. In 2016, they became a Developer for Storj. In 2018, they founded Summa and acted as a Software Developer. In 2020, they became a Partner | Engineering for cLabs, and in 2021 they founded Nomad and became the COO.

Barbara Liau attended Brigham Young University–Hawaii from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Cultural Studies-Communications and a Certificate in Intercultural Peacebuilding. In 2009, they completed the Basic Public Affairs Course - Writer at the Defense Information School in Maryland, with a focus on Photojournalism. In 2015, they attended Devmountain to pursue Web Development.
