Joshua Dustin

Joshua Dustin has extensive experience in the field of information security and compliance. Joshua currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at HR-SEC, where they provide top-level leadership in meeting client needs related to information security and compliance. Joshua is responsible for ensuring compliance with security standards such as FFIEC and overseeing the roadmap to TX-RAMP and FedRAMP authorization. Prior to their current role, Joshua served as the VP of Security and Compliance Programs at Nomi Health.

Before joining HR-SEC and Nomi Health, Joshua held multiple positions at HireVue, including CISO and Director of Information Security. In these roles, they managed the enterprise Information Security team and designed and implemented security policies, standards, and technical controls. Joshua also ensured the security of vendor relationships and internal resources.

Joshua's earlier experience includes working as a Security Administrator at Adobe Systems and Omniture. Joshua also served as a Novell Dedicated Support Engineer at Yale New Haven Hospital, providing on-site support for Novell eDirectory, Identity Manager, and Single Sign-On solutions. Joshua began their career at Novell, where they held various roles as a Technical Support Engineer, Associate Sales Engineer, and Distributor Sales Engineer.

Joshua Dustin earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Networking Systems from Utah State University between 2001 and 2004. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFIv8) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEHv8) from EC-Council in 2014, GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) from SANS Institute in 2011, CISSP from (ISC)2 in 2006, Master CNE (MCNE) from Novell in 2006, Certified Linux Engineer (CLE) and SUSE Certified Linux Professional (CLP) from SUSE in 2005.
